When you record, the audio is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, analyzed in memory to find your matches, and immediately discarded. We do not store your voice, we do not use it to train models, and no human hears it. The copy on your device is deleted after it is analyzed.
If — and only if — you turn on AI voice descriptions, a short clip of your recording is also sent to Google's Gemini model, through the Vercel AI Gateway, to generate the written description of your voice, your match blurbs, and impression coaching. Google processes the clip to return text and, under its enterprise/API terms, does not retain the clip or use it to train its models; Vercel acts only as a pass-through gateway. We ask for your permission inside the app before this happens, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings. With AI descriptions off, you still receive your full ranked matches and scores — only the written descriptions are skipped, and no audio is sent to Google or any other third party.
We do not require accounts and do not store personal profiles. Your results history is saved only on your device and is deleted when you delete the app. If you submit a character suggestion, we store only the text you typed — nothing that identifies you.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We may verify purchase receipts with Apple to unlock content you bought.
The app contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Our server keeps standard short-lived technical logs (such as request timestamps and status codes) for reliability and abuse prevention.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
